Gallery 925
Our gallery is dedicated to celebrating art and artists in Southern New Mexico. Gallery 925 is a dream come true for owner, artist, and educator, Diane Alire. The gallery opened January 2021 and – since its opening – Diane has invited local Las Cruces artists to submit work for monthly shows. Check out our upcoming events and our calls for submissions.
Owner, artist and educator
Diane is a native of Montgomery, AL. She earned her BFA from Auburn University and her MFA in Photography from the University of Texas, Austin. She taught Photography and other undergraduate art courses in Albuquerque for over a decade before moving to Las Cruces in 2014. Since that time, Diane taught Art Appreciation courses at Doña Ana Community College. Diane opened Gallery 925 December of 2020 to showcase local artists and connect to the amazing art community here in Las Cruces.
Additional Info
Currently at the gallery, Diane continues to present monthly shows that focus on local artists, as well as her own work. She continues to teach small Photogravure workshops in her print studio behind the gallery and has plans to invite other artists to offer workshops within their own expertise. It's an exciting time at Gallery 925 and we hope you'll join us for more to come!
